‣pressured for policy wins, like exempting Puerto Rico from the Buy American Act, which only applied to a handful of jurisdictions and would have restricted the Island’s purchases of medical supplies during the COVID pandemic;
‣mobilized 60 local and national groups to demand a comprehensive Puerto Rico policy platform from the presidential candidates, a historic and major campaign; and
‣coordinated a DC-Philadelphia-NYC rally in front of the offices of the Department of Housing and Urban Development to demand the release of Congressionally-authorized funds that the Trump Administration had illegally blocked.

Power 4 Puerto Rico is a coalition of organizations and leaders of the Puerto Rican Diaspora and allies advocating for the island and displaced families. The Latino Victory Project currently serves as our incubator and a platform for increasing awareness about our campaigns.
