The Case for Support: In 2020, Sen. Christine Marsh flipped this seat and has been a strong ally in the AZ Senate. She has been drawn into a more difficult district (42% DPI) against Sen. Nancy Barto (R), the author of the 15-week abortion ban and champion of anti-trans legislation. With Republicans controlling a one-seat majority, this is a must-win “protect” seat to elect a pro-equality majority.
