QTrust - Florida Slate

Democrats need to gain four seats to win control of the State Senate. With complete control of the state, Republicans have not passed any LGBTQ legislation. Equality Florida and local LGBTQ organizations have built a strong statewide coalition of business leaders, faith leaders, and local ordinances to pressure Tallahassee to act. By gaining power in the legislature, Democrats can pressure Republicans to have the conversation, especially in the State Senate where there is more Republican support than in the past.
