Raj Mukherji

Stand with Senator Raj Mukherji!

Senator Raj Mukherji has spent his career proving that progressive values, independent-minded leadership, and real results can go hand in hand.

In the State Legislature, Raj hasn’t just talked about change—he has delivered it, time and again, and has prime-sponsored more bills signed into law in the past 12 years than any other lawmaker in New Jersey, while consistently securing appropriations relief for his district and real outcomes for constituents.

Raj fights passionately for grassroots supporters, not special interests. If you believe in progressive leadership that actually gets things done, please chip in $10, $25, or whatever you can to power Raj’s reelection.

He was a primary sponsor of landmark laws enacting paid sick leave for New Jersey workers, protecting reproductive freedom and bodily autonomy, strengthening immigrant trust, advancing climate justice, expanding access to healthcare and prescription drugs, investing in economic opportunity and job creation, improving mass transit infrastructure, and preventing tens of millions in school funding cuts to his district from going into effect.

Raj also created a statewide retirement savings plan for workers without one, made college more affordable and accessible, expanded addiction prevention and treatment, and advanced social justice, animal welfare, and voting rights.

Raj believes progressive leadership means standing up for working people and having the independence to do what’s right, even when it isn’t easy and even when it means standing up to party leadership. And as an effective incumbent, he knows how to turn those values into laws that are actually passed and improve people’s lives.

Every contribution helps keep an effective, progressive voice fighting for Hudson County and for New Jersey.
