RAPP Supports NAACP to Fight for Racial Justice

Goal thermometer

As RAPP continues to support the fight towards racial justice the Agency Lead Team wanted to put action to our words and make a meaningful impact. We thought it was important that we put money behind the commitment we’ve made as an organization – to empower education, stand up, speak out and have the uncomfortable conversations.

To that end, the Agency Lead Team, in partnership with Marco and Steve Takla, will match up to $15,000 of the total contributions made by each of us, as part of the LA and Dallas offices, to the NAACP out of our own pockets.

WHY DID WE CHOOSE THE NAACP?:

Your gift will help NAACP Empowerment Programs staff, members and volunteers continue working toward our mission of ensuring the political, educational, social and economic equality of rights of all persons and to eliminate racial hatred and racial discrimination. Give to fuel the fight and build power for communities of color. *Donations to NAACP Empowerment Programs are tax-deductible.

The NAACP Empowerment Programs’ 111 years of service in training, education and advocacy, well positions the organization to lead the way locally and nationally in taking action to ensure the community’s interests are addressed every single step of the way! NAACP Empowerment Programs is pressing policy makers to:

  • Invest in Early Care and Learning;
  • Address the Racial Gap in Technology and Internet Access;
  • Provide Support for Out-of-School Time and for Teachers.
