This year's Blue Wave Cookout will be held on Saturday July 25th at Byrd Park Shields Lake Pavilion from 12-4PM. Come out and have a good time socializing with fellow Democrats, eating good food, and listening to some tunes. This event is open to all Democrats in the city so please invite your friends, family, and neighbors!
2026 is a big election year for Virginia. As a committee we seek to play an instrumental role in the local political landscape by being a participant in voter registration events, hosting voter education forums, and having sample ballots at precincts. We are seeking sponsors for this year's Blue Wave Cookout, a social gathering, to help support these committee efforts later in the summer and fall.
