Hello Candidates!!
This year the Richmond City Democratic Committee Dem-O-Que will include a Straw Poll that will be held June 11th from 1 to 4pm at The Carillon at Byrd Park.
Our straw poll event will be used as a time for Richmond citizens to purchase a $25 entry fee. The fee includes food, drink, and one ticket to vote for a candidate in the Senate District 14 and House District 79 primary. Individuals will also be able to purchase additional tickets for $5, as this is not a scientific poll, but a fun way for folks to learn about and support candidates as well as network with local Democrats and organizations.
The results of straw poll will be announced at the event and in a press release. Media will be invited.
Prices are:
Candidate's Info Table: $500 (includes 4 tickets to the event, table, chairs). Candidates are encouraged to dress their tables as a way to attract voters. This includes, but is not limited to, signage, literature and any swag!!
Additional ballots: $5
