Since taking office in 2023, Council Member Zo Qadri has delivered real results on affordability, mobility, and civil rights.
He led efforts to modernize Austin’s land use code—eliminating parking minimums, allowing more shared housing, and supporting zoning reforms that expand affordable housing options across the city. As vice chair of the Mobility Committee, he’s prioritized safer, greener ways to get around, investing in protected bike lanes, sidewalks, urban trails, and public transit. Council Member Qadri has fought to protect Austinites’ civil liberties—passing policies to expand voter registration, promote economic justice through public banking conversations, and stand up to harmful state overreach.
In just two and a half years, he’s shown what it means to govern with both bold ideas and everyday impact. Help Council Member Zo Qadri deliver more solutions for Austin.
