We're grateful to have you as part of our grassroots movement.
If you can, please make a donation to my re-election campaign today to help me continue fighting for our community college students.
I cannot win this race alone.

I'm proud of what we've accomplished together:
• Made tuition free for all our full-time students, and made online textbooks free too
• Brought enrollment back to where it was before the pandemic
• Cut district legal spending from over $2 million a year to about $200,000, and put that money back into classrooms
• Passed a Project Labor Agreement so the people building our campuses earn a fair wage and our students train for those careers
• Expanded dual enrollment so high schoolers start college early
• Stabilized district leadership after years of turnover
And I'm not done yet. Over the next four years, we will:
• Expand childcare, so being a parent isn't a barrier to your education
• Expand career pathways that lead to good jobs right here in Contra Costa
• Keep community college free, and keep enrollment climbing
• Build the classrooms and labs our students deserve, with local union labor
• Run this district the way public money deserves to be run: transparently, with faculty and students at the table
This is a contested race, and it's going to take a team. Ward 3 is the size of a County Supervisor district. That is a lot of doors and a lot of conversations.
