Contribution rules
- I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
- I am at least eighteen years old.
- This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
From the Committee for Steve Young for Benicia Mayor 2024, FPPC #1422820. Per Benicia Municipal Codes 1.42.040, "Campaign contribution limitations," 1.42.070, "Voluntary expenditure limits," and the Benicia City Clerk's 2024 "Voluntary Expenditure CPI Increase Amount Memo," any candidate for city council, mayor, city clerk or city treasurer (or his or her controlled committee) who has agreed to voluntary contribution limits shall not accept contributions in total of more than $740.00 for a single election.
