We have a lot of challenges and opportunities facing us here in Virginia and across the nation.

For two terms, I've had the honor of representing you in the House of Delegates working hard for economic development and justice, protecting our elders and vulnerable adults from exploitation, protecting our kids online, ensuring resources for good schools and teacher pay, fixing infrastructure, making healthcare and housing affordable and accessible, and taking care of our veterans and their families are just a few areas of my dedicated work.

With the looming changes at the federal level, now is the time to be even more focused and steadfast in protecting you and your families - from your jobs, to homes, to healthcare and Veteran benefits and much more. It's clear that the time for new strategies, enhanced discipline, and focused action is now. That's why I'm committed to serving and representing you in the Virginia House of Delegates. And that's why I am running to be re-elected for a third term.

I've spent my career building bridges between people who don't agree as well as with those who do, standing firm and holding others accountable. I am not one for public theatrics, I am a fighter who is about the work and about the people. I know how to bring people together, keep people accountable, and get things done for you.

I spent the 2024 session working hard to pass legislation that helps all Virginians thrive regardless of party or place in our communities, with a special focus on consumer protection, AI/technology, education, health, housing, the data center cost-sharing, and our economy. This year, I joined the steering committee of the AI Multi-state Working Group to address the use of artificial intelligence in private industry while prioritizing your rights and privacy balanced with Virginia's need to remain competitive and innovative.

As a result of my work for you over my first two terms, I have been named “2022 Rookie Legislator of the Year," “Legislative Champion,” and "Outstanding Ally to Public Education." Most recently in 2024, I was honored to be named "2024 Impact Maker" by Virginia Business Magazine and a "2024 Legislative Champion" by the Virginia Education Association.
