The past two years have been hard on the people of New Hampshire. Rising property taxes, increased housing costs, and utility rate hikes make every day a struggle, and this is only made worse by the attacks on our personal rights by extremists. Everyone deserves to live free and healthy lives in New Hampshire, and I will continue to fight to make that a reality.
In my first term I:
- was appointed Clerk to the House Criminal Justice & Public Safety committee
- served on the Bail Reform subcommittee where I cocreated a legislative package to improve public safety while protecting civil rights
- co-chaired the House Progressive Caucus, where we worked across the aisle on issues like housing, cannabis legalization, and protecting immigrant rights
- fought to keep New Hampshire welcoming for all by advocating against LGBTQ+ legislation, introducing a bill to better track hate crimes, and cosponsoring bills to keep families together and promote racial justice
