I've loved my time in the Iowa Legislature so far, and I've seen the potential good that can be done. But it's not been without its frustrations. I'm honored to run again to try to make that good a reality.
I've worked hard to sponsor legislation that will make a difference, and I've ensured every vote I take is one I can be proud of. I've also been frustrated by great ideas that fall by the wayside because we're in the minority and not able to drive the agenda. I was proud to be one of 5 seats that flipped from Red to Blue last cycle, but the work doesn't end there. We have to make sure I can continue to talk to the voters of HD43 regularly to keep this seat blue, and we need to make sure we flip 4 more seats next time. To get there - to allow me to send newsletters, sponsor digital, and talk to voters, and to get to the majority - we need to start now.
