The education, safety, and well-being of our students and staff remain my number one priority! Thanks to your support I have worked towards a student outcome-focused governance and accountability framework that is laser-focused on monitoring student outcomes, continuous improvement, improved communication, and collaboration. Prioritized student and staff health, safety, and well-being before and during COVID-19 (2019-date)
Supported the Apprenticeship Policy (2019)
Adopted the new Math Curriculum (2020)
Engaged in a 4-phase Strategic Planning Process with the Community which translated into the Board’s newly adopted Goals (community’s vision) and Guardrails (Community’s values) that defines the direction for education in the ASD for the next 5 years (2019-2021)
Supported the Renaming of East High School (2020)
Supported and co-sponsored the Anti Racism Policy (2021)
Supported and co-sponsored the Instructional Equity Policy (2021)
Adopted the Board’s 2021-2026 Goals and Guardrails (2021)
Supported the Renaming Fairview Elementary School (2021)
Co-sponsored the policy to prioritize student testimony during Regular Board Meetings
