15 years ago, Bruce Blair brought together an unprecedented global community of leaders to build a new kind of movement to persuade governments to come to their senses and eradicate the most catastrophic weapons on the planet. A veteran nuclear launch officer and unrivaled expert in command and control, Bruce understood — better than any single person alive — the urgency of the nuclear threat. He built the Global Zero movement from the ground up and devoted all of his energy to making the world safer and better for all people.
Because of Bruce, Global Zero exists as a catalyst for bold leadership and big ideas that move the world closer to a future free from nuclear weapons.
