Help Restore & Protect Our Office

On the morning of January 16, our volunteers arrived at the Charleston County Democratic Party office to find that vandals had covered our locks with liquid cement and left threatening messages on our doors and windows. We are thankful for the outpouring of support we have received from the community. Many have asked how they can help repair the damage that was done, so we have created this page to allow those who wish to help us build back stronger and safer a way to contribute directly to this effort.

Our computerized entry system that allowed us to control access to the office (and keep it easily accessible to all who do important work there) was destroyed. In addition, we have learned that we need to increase the security features of our office, including adding additional surveillance cameras. All donations made on this page will help us to repair the damage that was done and enhance the security of our office so that it continues to be a safe place for our volunteers to do important work that benefits our community.
