Run for Something Endorses Cathy Copeland

On March 12, 2019, Run for Something endorsed community activist and educator Cathy Copeland in her race for Virginia's House District 26.

Amanda Litman and Ross Morales Rocketto launched Run for Something on Jan. 20, 2017 with a simple premise: help young diverse progressives to run for down-ballot races in order to build a bench for the future.

“We’ve said it from the beginning: We want to support candidates that are a reflection of the best this country has to offer,” says Run for Something co-founder Amanda Litman. “These candidates will inspire you, move you, and maybe even make you want to run yourself. 2020 is the election on everyone’s minds these days -- these folks are doing the damn thing right now.”

Cathy is one of these folks doing the work right now -- and her district is flippable with your help: In 2018, after years of Republican wins, VA-26 flipped to blue to vote for Tim Kaine for Senate. The votes exist for Cathy to add one more Democratic seat to the General Assembly in Virginia. Please donate to win in 2019!
