Run for Something PAC

This Juneteenth, support Black candidates running for local office.

Run for Something works with thousands of young people running for local office all across the country.

Although much of our country looks at July 4th as our day of Independence, for millions of Black people, Juneteenth marks the end of slavery in America. Without proper recognition of Juneteenth, our country cannot properly grapple with the stained legacy of slavery and its consequences that remain today.

In honor of Juneteenth, we are asking supporters and contributors to directly support Black local candidates running for office in 2021. Creating an equitable society doesn't end just because Trump is out of office. It ends when we have progressive, diverse candidates in every electable seat. It ends when we have elected officials who are committed to reconciling centuries of systemic abuse against marginalized communities.
