Rhonda Hart is an Army veteran, a mother, and the Democratic nominee taking on Brian Babin in Texas's 36th Congressional District.


On May 18, 2018, Rhonda's 14-year-old daughter Kimberly was killed in the Santa Fe High School shooting — the youngest of ten victims that morning. Rhonda didn't collapse. She went to Washington, fought alongside Sandy Hook and Parkland families, and got a bill named for Kimberly passed through the U.S. House.

Contribution rules

  1. This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
  2. I am at least eighteen years old.
  3. I am not a federal contractor.
  4. I am making this contribution with my own personal credit card and not with a corporate or business credit card or a card issued to another person.
  5. I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
An individual may contribute up to $3,500 and a multicandidate committee (“PAC”) may contribute up to $5,000 to Hart for Congress. The first $3,500 of a person’s contribution and the first $5,000 of a PAC’s contribution will be designated for the general election.
