2021 Virtual Roosevelt-Hamer
On Monday, May 10, the Santa Barbara County Democratic Party will host 2021 Virtual Roosevelt-Hamer. Due to COVID-19, this will be a virtual event. Our theme this year is: “Renewing Our Democracy.”
The Roosevelt-Hamer Dinner is the main annual benefit event of the Santa Barbara County Democratic Party. Party supporters, activists, and contributors will gather together to honor awardees, celebrate our successes, and rally for the future.
This year, we will be joined by U.S. Senator Alex Padilla. Alex Padilla made history this year when he became California’s first ever Latino U.S. Senator. As California’s Secretary of State, he has fought to protect voting rights and ensure election integrity. Now he is leading the fight to reform our broken immigration system and protect our democracy.
