A career public finance professional, Rieman was first elected auditor in 2022 and took office in 2023. He previously served as the Budget Officer for the City of Columbia and as Director of the Missouri General Assembly’s Legislative Research - Oversight Division, bringing over 10 years of non-partisan budget analysis and municipal budgeting experience to the county. Rieman is also a small business owner, having started his first business in 2016, and serves as a bridge between Boone County’s public and private sectors.
