Alan Grayson

Reproductive health should be covered by health insurance.

Abortion is healthcare. And that makes it easy for a Democratic Congress and White House to protect women’s rights, like this: (a) put the right to choose in the ‘reconciliation bill’ as a federal healthcare expenditure, a sort-of “reverse Hyde Amendment”; (b) by regulation, add abortion and reproductive health to minimum required coverage (like ‘pre-existing conditions’) as minimum requirements for all health coverage; and (c) make the abortion pill available without a doctor’s visit and, with FDA approval, without a prescription. With YOUR SUPPORT, we can make it happen.
