Rhode Island Solidarity Fund
An Update -
Since its launch, the Rhode Island Solidarity Fund has been able to raise over $142,000! Thank you to everyone who has donated because with your contributions, we have been able to provide mutual aid support to our communities in need.
Currently, we are seeing dramatic jumps in cases as the state operates under business as usual. Our work continues to be in need, so consider making a donation today!
Donations to the Rhode Island Solidarity Fund go directly to community organizations that are working nonstop to meet the needs of our community members who are most at risk of severe consequences in this crisis across Rhode Island. This ranges from low-income renters facing eviction to undocumented workers and people in prison.
Your donation will:
- Support immediate COVID-19 relief efforts in historically marginalized communities across Rhode Island
- Support local and state advocacy for essential public health policies and economic recovery
- Help build local networks and resilient systems that sustain our communities for the long term
Please note that the Providence Youth Student Movement (PrYSM) acts as the fiscal sponsor of this fund. To send checks, please address it to PrYSM and note on the memo line "RISF".
