Help IfNotNow NYC Resist AIPAC

Goal thermometer

When I heard about a training with a group called IfNotNow, formed to end the Jewish community's support for the occupation, I was skeptical. But because I was reckoning with my own Judaism and wanted to find more Brooklyn social justice minded young Jews, I gave it a shot.

What I ended up finding in IfNotNow was much more than the information session I had originally dragged by tired feet to attend. Instead, I found a community of people who believe that as Jews we can -- and have a moral obligation to --become a vibrant, liberated Jewish community that supports freedom and dignity for all Israelis and Palestinians. I found a community that shows up for ourselves and for others, and makes me excited and invigorated to do the same.I found a community that is unapologetically fighting for a better and more just world. And, thankfully for skeptics like me, we are using effective and strategic movement building tools to achieve this goal. IfNotNow has become a movement that is making this world a little less scary and a whole lot more hopeful.

That's why I am fundraising for IfNotNow so that I can help hundreds of young Jewish movement leaders like myself get to DC to resist and protest the annual AIPAC Conference.  I am donating to IfNotNow because I want to shed light on the hypocrisy of institutional silence, and bring normalized hatred and endlessoccupation out of the shadows.

I am fundraising for IfNotNow because AIPAC is NOT  my Judaism,  because I believe in freedom and dignity for Israelis AND  Palestinians; because my Jewish values command me to stand up for what is right.

Please support IfNotNow'sefforts to get hundreds of people down to DC so that we can protect the valueswe hold as Jews, as Americans, and as human beings
