The Richard Marcus Scholarship Fundraiser

embed errored

The Watertown Democratic Committee has established the Richard Marcus scholarship for Watertown students. We would like to remember Richard with a student scholarship promoting the democratic ideals he valued, such as awareness of the issues of the day, encouraging community strength, and the importance of civic participation. Not only was Richard a strong advocate for Democratic candidates, he also believed strongly in the mission of education. This is why we created a scholarship that will provide a $2,500 award to two winning students who write the best essays showing their visions of a solution to a current challenge in our society. We invite you to join us for our second fundraiser to establish this new scholarship.
