The Richard Marcus Scholarship Fundraiser

Dear Friends and Activists,


The Watertown Democratic Committee is hosting it’s third fundraiser for the Richard Marcus Scholarship. We continue to remember Richard through this student scholarship promoting the democratic ideals he valued, such as awareness of the issues of the day, encouraging community strength, and the importance of civic participation. Not only was Richard a strong advocate for Democratic candidates, he also believed strongly in the mission of education. This is why we continue to award an annual scholarship of $2,500 to a Watertown graduate. We invite you to join us to keep this scholarship thriving.


 When: Sunday, April 26th, 2026

 Time: 3:00-5:00 PM 

 Where: Branch Line, 321 Arsenal St., Watertown, MA
