Pitch in today to support Robert Gonzalez for Board of Trustee. Together, we can move our community forward. As a Sierra Community College Board Trustee, my priorities would be: 1. focus on student affordability, preventing Sierra Community College student expenses from being the pipeline to burdensome student debt; 2. I would advocate for full- and part time faculty to achieve parity in compensation so that Sierra Faculty are not among the lowest-paid teachers in the California Community College system; and 3. I would look to the future educational environment in Placer County by seeking collaboration and possible economies of scale with the planned Regional Sacramento State University.
