I'm Robin Wilt, a community organizer, small business owner, public servant, and fighter running to represent New York's 25th Congressional District.
As a first-generation American, I've seen firsthand how access to educational and economic opportunity can transform lives. As immigrants to this country, my parents were able to participate in a fair and humane immigration process that allowed them to provide their children with access to the potential that our country holds, and I'm running for Congress because we need leaders who will secure that the potential for future generations.
I've faced the struggles that many people in our community experience. I know what it's like when families are being squeezed from every side. Groceries, rent, housing costs, transportation, insurance, and utility bills keep climbing while wages stay flat. Jobs and educational opportunity are vanishing. Our human rights are under constant attack.
Even so, our community is resilient.
Our power lies in our togetherness. When government turns its back on us, we take care of each other. When crisis hits, our community keeps us safe. That's why we deserve representation that is rooted in the power instilled in the people of the 25th Congressional District.
We need a fighter who answers to the people, not the corporate interests that threaten to undermine our democracy. We need a representative that leads with courage and believes in transparent governance and maximizing access to the democratic process. We need someone who will fight for us.
