Help send delegates to the DSA convention!

This is a joint fundraiser with the Brainerd Lakes DSA Chapter, and the Southeast MN DSA Organizing Committee.

It’s not easy to be organizing outside the metropole of Twin Cities. We have three socialists trying to make their way to Chicago for the 2025 National DSA Convention. Making sure these voices can be heard at convention will help ensure we can ground DSA politics in what’s necessary to bring socialism to every town and county.

We also have some sweet socialist swag for our donors! This fundraiser is being sponsored by the Twin Cities DSA chapter who have graciously committed to match any funds we raise. After costs for the convention and swag have been covered, any excess funds will go to the general fund of Twin Cities DSA.

Meet the Delegates

Kalen G is an active member of Southeast Minnesota DSA. His organizing approach is rooted in accessibility, solidarity, and joy—ensuring our work is welcoming and grounded in collective action. He’s deeply committed to building his chapter’s capacity and connecting his local work to national priorities.

Julius K is a founding member and co-chair of Brainerd Lakes Area DSA. He's a passionate organizer focusing on civic engagement among college students and public transportation infrastructure. His primary focus is on ensuring organizations like DSA do effective outreach to rural areas and smaller communities.

Aaron B is a recent transplant to Southeast MN, where he soon got to work getting an organizing committee off the ground. He also helped set up a MN EWOC local in the twin cities area, and is the chair for the Democracy Commission. He has learned a lot since the last convention and is excited for more deliberation.
