We are Beth Rochford, Lisa Levy, and Paddy Lindley running together as a slate for the 17th Police District Council in the February 2027 Chicago Municipal Election.


The role of District Council was created to give the community an opportunity to have a voice in policing. We are running to make sure the focus is on police accountability, public safety, and alternative response programs that are proven to improve community wellness. In its first years, we have witnessed that the district councils that have worked together are more effective and that's why we are running as “The Team for 17”.


Each of us are fully committed to working together and to hold space for the community to discuss their thoughts and concerns about policing and public safety. We are committed to community co-governance, ensuring our work is transparent and accessible to our neighbors.
