We can't go backwards in Maine.

It's clear the extreme views of today's Supreme Court are due to upend decades of legal precedent in order to satisfy an anti-choice agenda.


State legislatures will be key to protecting abortion rights in our country. In Maine, we have advanced reproductive rights by passing bills like LD 820, LD 1261, and LD 1899.


However, the lesson we are learning from Washington is progress can be constrained and worse yet: repealed.


We need to send a pro-choice majority back to Augusta in November. This is the only way to make sure reproductive rights will be protected and guaranteed.
