Every two years, the Shrewsbury Democratic Town Committee honors local Democratic activists, leaders, and young people at our Eleanor Roosevelt Humanitarian Awards event. Nominations are submitted by committee members and chosen for their hard work on political and civic causes, and for their commitment to the community.
We are pleased to announce that an outstanding group of Shrewsbury leaders are amongst this year's honorees, including one being bestowed a new award for the very first time. They are:
- Missy Hollenback, Eleanor Roosevelt Humanitarian Award
- Jason Molina, Eleanor Roosevelt Humanitarian Award
- Carlos Garcia, Outstanding Youth Award
- Kerry Shea, Outstanding Youth Award
- and Nancy Woron, who will receive the first ever Eleanor Roosevelt Award for Distinguished Service
This year's Eleanor Roosevelt event will be a brunch to take place at 10:30 AM on Sunday, November 5th, at Highfields Golf & Country Club (42 Magill Drive in Grafton).
