Support the RootsCamp Scholarship Fund: No Organizer Turned Away
RootsCamp is the progressive movement's post-election debrief — the unconference where the people who did the work teach each other what actually happened, win, lose, or draw. Since 2006, the agenda has come from the room, not the stage. RootsCamp is fiscally hosted by GAIN Power, and Global GAIN (501(c)(3)) runs this Scholarship Fund so that no one is priced out of the room.
What 2025 Taught Us
When RootsCamp came back in person in 2025, we awarded 150 scholarships — and it wasn't enough. Over a hundred applications came in within weeks, many from organizers laid off right after the election: the exact people whose lessons the movement most needs. Our deepest regret was turning people away. This fund exists so that never happens again.
Your Contribution Matters
RootsCamp is coming back — the national gathering, bigger than 2025. By contributing to the Scholarship Fund, you directly:
Give Now, Win, Lose, or Draw
We're not waiting for results to decide the debrief is worth funding — and neither should the scholarship fund. Dates and location are coming soon. The need is already here: the sooner the fund grows, the more organizers we can say yes to on day one.
Donate today to the RootsCamp Scholarship Fund, hosted by Global GAIN. Every dollar puts an organizer in the room.

The movement shows up for its people. Thank you for showing up for RootsCamp.
What changed: the "Where RootsCamp Is Headed" network section is gone entirely — no funded promises about local camps. The ask is now squarely about the national room, and "fill the room with the right people" replaces the distributed-network framing.
If you want a nod to local camps without a funding commitment, one line could go at the very end, something like: "And if you're inspired to bring the debrief home — RootsCamps can happen anywhere. Ask us how to host one." Want that in, or keep the page clean and single-purpose?
