The election on November 3 is incredibly important - we know from the last 6 years that Republicans have downshifted costs to local property taxpayers, making it nearly impossible for young families to buy a home and seniors to be able to stay in theirs. They've eroded local control and continually attack our form of local government.
I’m happy to report that the Center for Effective Lawmaking, a joint program of Vanderbilt University and the University of Virginia rank me #2 as the most effective Democratic legislator and 10th overall for the longest streak of "exceeding expectations."
My record is solid. I have championed and successfully passed into law important environmental measures, including regulations on PFAS in our water, air and soil. I've always voted to uphold a woman's right to make decisions about her body - and I always will. I believe in fiscal responsibility, local control, and ensuring all our children have opportunities to meet their potential and that NH is affordable to all Granite Staters. That is the NH Way.
