Under orders from Donald Trump, Texas Republicans are redrawing their state’s Congressional district maps. 


The goal? Create more Republican districts so that the House stays in GOP hands — no matter what the voters think.


Their proposed new map completely reshapes the 32nd District, represented by our friend Julie Johnson, the first LGBTQ+ member of Congress elected from the South. Her urban and suburban North Texas district would become rural and predominantly Republican.


Julie isn’t taking this attack lying down. She is speaking out and organizing buses so her neighbors can travel to the state capitol to testify against this unhinged power grab. 


Together, we must swiftly and fiercely push back against this redistricting scheme. In America, voters choose their leaders – leaders don’t get to choose their voters.
