As the only Palestinian American serving in Congress, Rep. Rashida Tlaib is a reminder to many of her colleagues that Palestinians exist and deserve to live with freedom and human dignity. July 24 is her birthday, the same day that Israel’s genocidal Prime Minister is speaking to Congress.
For years, Rashida has led the fight in Congress to ensure that U.S. tax dollars are not used to fund the Israeli military’s human rights abuses. Rashida also supports the long-overdue dismantling of our country’s military-industrial complex, so that we can finally put a stop to forever wars and instead reinvest into our struggling communities at home.
We need people like Rashida in Congress to keep the pressure on until Palestinians’ humanity and equal rights are finally recognized.
Will you pitch in today to keep Rashida in Congress as she advocates for Palestinian liberation and human rights for all people?
