Free, Fair and -- most importantly -- secure election reform has to start in California if it has any hope of making it across the country. Ruben Major is a progressive Bernie supporter running for Secretary of State in California. His primary opponent is the incumbent Secretary of State who was responsible for the horrific 2016 Democratic Presidential Primary in California where thousands of eligible voters were turned away or were forced to vote "provisional" ballots which were never counted.
The incumbent is an establishment Democratic Party operative who also -- when he was in the California legislature -- had a history of votes that killed single-payer health care in California.
