The Rural Caucus of the Democratic Party of Virginia reorganized in October 2023 and elected new officers. The Caucus is now collaboratively writing new bylaws and goals to reflect its core values and overall vision.


Members of the new Rural Caucus live all across the Commonwealth and are committed to working within the Democratic Party of Virginia “to facilitate and encourage the full participation of all Virginians in choosing their elected officials and controlling their political destiny,” as stated in the Party Plan Preamble, especially in rural areas.

Contribution rules

  1. I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
  2. I am at least eighteen years old.
  3. Virginia: This contribution is made from my own funds or the funds of an authorizing corporation or other entity, and the funds are not being provided by any other person or entity.
