Rust Belt Rising helps Democrats be the party of working people by training candidates on connecting effectively with Midwestern families, winning seats, and delivering change.

We provide research, learning sessions, and individual coaching to a network of more than 1,200 leaders across Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, and Illinois.

We have helped win 123 elections and our 2020 candidates averaged 3,839 more votes than their districts' 2016 nominees. Our 2020 voter registration program recruited 3,704 volunteers to make over half a million phone calls that helped 42,830 Michigan and Wisconsin residents register to vote.
