Ryan Bohl for Upper Darby School Board

Thank you for your support!

Ryan Bohl is a former teacher and father of two running for School Board Director. Ryan is passionate about student equality, teacher working conditions, and addressing the growing challenges of educating our children in a time of Federal spending cuts and worsening economic challenges for our community's families. He believes public schools have always been the backbone of our communities, and is a proud parent of two students at Aronimink Elementary.

Ryan spent ten years in education, teaching in reforming systems in the United Arab Emirates and Qatar, where he learned about multicultural approaches to the classroom and saw firsthand the critical role reform plays in students' lives. He taught in Brooklyn, New York, where he learned about the impact of inequality and saw education's high stakes for students. Ryan's wife continues to work as a pre-K teacher in Philadelphia. Ryan is running for School Director to bring these experiences and perspectives to the Upper Darby School District and to be part of the work the district is embarking upon to keep Upper Darby a community people are proud of.
