Samantha Kattan is a first-generation daughter of immigrants, a working parent, tenant organizer, and a democratic socialist running to represent the diverse communities of Assembly District 37 living in Long Island City, Maspeth, Ridgewood, Sunnyside and Woodside.


After over a decade of organizing and advocating for tenants' rights, Samantha is taking our people-powered movement to Albany. Together, we will fight for strong housing protections, universal childcare, immigrant protections, and tax the rich.
