Safety Bound is a project to reimagine the sheriff. We do this by:

  • Increasing public understanding of the sheriffs’ role in driving racist and ineffective approaches to safety;
  • Advancing narratives and policy that demonstrate a vision of public safety that does not depend on sheriffs;
  • Building a movement of organizations and people who share this vision and take action to make it a reality.
