In the past year, we faced a lot together: a virus that caused so much suffering and highlighted inequities, a reckoning with our country’s racism and white supremacy, and uncertainty about the future of our democracy.
Through it all, Summit Area Indivisible has supported our neighbors, helped defeat Trump and win back the Senate. And we’re committed to continuing to build grassroots power to save democracy and create a more just future for all.
Summit Area Indivisible (SAI) is one of over 6,000 grassroots Indivisible groups across the country taking deliberate actions to maintain the US as the beacon of democracy through security, opportunity, and liberty for all people in the US. We maintain that respect and truth are the basis for a stable democracy. We affirm the rule of law and free and fair elections as a foundation of our Constitution.
We stand for inclusion, human rights (women’s, LGBTQ, religious, consumer, etc.), humanitarian immigration policies, public education, accessible and affordable healthcare, protection of Medicare, Social Security, and the dignity of work through opportunities for all, protecting the environment and the planet, as well as the peaceful co-existence with our neighbors and other countries around the world.
SAI is completely volunteer run. A small portion of your donation goes to Indivisible which administers this fundraising platform. The rest will support the direct costs of our organizing in Summit -- including meeting room rental, printing costs for posters, postcards and postage, supplies, transportation, web site hosting, and more!
