Friends of Salim Adofo
I am honored to announce my candidacy for the District of Columbia Council seat for Ward 8. It has been my pleasure to serve as an Advisory Neighborhood Commissioner in Congress Heights for the last four years. During this time, we have made substantial progress towards improving the neighborhood. In addition to improving the infrastructure, we have increased educational resources for our children, and we have championed a number of environmental justice initiatives. The time has come for us to take our advocacy to the next level.
Ward 8 is a vibrant community with residents from a wide variety of backgrounds. In order to achieve growth, we have to make sure that everyone in our community has the opportunity to participate in the advancement of our residents. With your donation, we can accomplish this together.
