Salute to Our Stars 2026

Please join us on Thursday, April 23, 2026 at 5:30-8 PM at Drumlins University Room, 800 Nottingham Rd, Syracuse for our annual event honoring Democrats representing the 17th Ward in November. We will honor those elected in 2025, including:


  • Mayor Sharon F. Owens
  • Council President Rita Paniagua
  • Councilor at Large Rasheada Caldwell
  • Councilor at Large Hanah Ehrenreich
  • 3rd District Councilor Corey J. Williams
  • 5th District Councilor Jimmy Monto 
  • Commissioner of Education Karen Cordano
  • Commissioner of Education Michael Root
  • 15th District County Legislator Maurice Brown
  • 17th District County Legislator Nodesia Hernandez
