The Fight for Equality Isn't Over

Goal thermometer

Marriage Equality was fought and we won with your help. But did you know that people can still be fired for their orientation or gender identity in many states? We need to fix that and I need your help.

The Equality Federation Institute is the movement builder and strategic partner to state-based organizations advancing equality for LGBT people in the communities we call home.  From ending discrimination to developing the leaders of tomorrow, the Equality Federation provides strategic guidance across the country and for the past two years I have served on their Board of Directors to help them do this work.

My ask to you is to give $34 to support the Equality Federation for my birthday. Here are a few reasons why:

  1. You love me and I love you.
  2. You like supporting organizations dedicated to achieving equality for all people no matter where they live.
  3. I'm The Blade's Most Eligible Bachelor in D.C.
  4. Remember that one time I gave to your good cause... *awkwardcough*
  5. You still love me?

Thank you so much! Sam
