I saw an amusing meme yesterday. It was the Simpsons' car in the driveway, just like in the opening of every episode. But all the windows were smashed in. The caption read, "Families returning home after spending the day in San Francisco." I would have laughed out loud if it had not rung so true. I am writing today for your support. My friend, Daniel Lurie, whom I have known since high school, is running for mayor of San Francisco. Not only is he the founder of the Tipping Point Community, which has done monumental work addressing poverty and education in the Bay Area for 18 years, he has devoted his life to public service. He has served as Chair of the Super Bowl 50 Host Committee, and the qualifications continue. The passion is unstoppable. You can learn more about him here: https://www.daniellurie.com/. I am asking for your SUPPORT so he can get as many people as possible in the early days to build important momentum. Supporting at any level is more important than the amount; you do not need to be a resident of SF to show support. You just need to care about San Francisco. Tony Bennett said it best, I don’t need to repeat the line because you know. And worse, I won't repeat it now because it doesn’t feel the same anymore. Daniel will change that. PLEASE HELP SAVE SAN FRANCISCO! DANIEL LURIE FOR MAYOR!
