My name is Sandeep Srivastava, a longtime Plano/Frisco resident, business owner, and community advocate, and I’m officially announcing my candidacy for Texas House District 66 as a Democrat. I will challenge the five-term Republican incumbent in the November 2026 election.

I’m running to bring bold, fresh leadership to the Texas Legislature—leadership that reflects the diversity, values, and priorities of District 66. A proud Texan and first-generation immigrant, I’m committed to fighting for quality public education, accessible health care, reproductive rights, and real solutions to lower property taxes while investing in infrastructure and community safety.

With a strong background in business and civic engagement, I plan to build a broad coalition of supporters across party lines, focused on pragmatic solutions and real change. As a parent, husband, and small business leader, I understand the challenges families in Collin County face every day—and I’m ready to be their voice in Austin.
