Sara Ratcliffe for Delegate

Sara Ratcliffe is running for the Virginia House of Delegates in the new 62nd District in 2023.

"After a 30-year career in progressive policy and politics, I believe I have the know-how and the experience to be a strong representative for the community that has become my home. In 2016, my husband and I found our dream home in Greene County, VA. We fell in love with the natural beauty of this region, the warmth of this community, and have gained a deeper appreciation the history that surrounds us here every day.  

I believe now more than ever we face unprecedented trials on multiple fronts. The good people of the new 62nd district deserve a representative willing to listen to their concerns, one who will come across all lines that divide us, and work hard to seek new ways to meet these new challenges--rather than someone driven by ambition, seeking to raise their own profile and further their own political agenda.

I hope to bring my life-long commitment to public service, my deep experience in sound public policy, and my strong belief in serving my community as your Delegate in Richmond."
