Sara Ratcliffe is running for the Virginia House of Delegates in the 62nd District in 2025 to fight for women's equality.

Women’s History Month is a time to honor the resilience, strength, and achievements of women who have shaped our country. It is also a time to recognize the work that is still ahead – from protecting reproductive freedom to ensuring equal pay – as we push forward to secure the opportunities and recognition women deserve.
Growing up in the Midwest and raised by a single mother, Sara Ratcliffe saw firsthand what happens in a woman-led household. Sara has also dedicated her career to advancing reproductive rights and health equity. She was an Acting President of Catholics for Choice which advocates for one to follow their moral and legal right to their sexual and reproductive health. For over twenty-five years, she has worked on advancing public health initiatives and healthcare services, especially for women, on both the state and federal levels. Sara prioritizes one’s personal reproductive decision, emphasizing access to contraception and family planning resources as well as medical coverage without restrictions such as abortion care.
Celebrating this month is a reminder that honoring women’s contributions should not be confined to a month, but a continuous effort every day of the year.
Join Sara in the fight for our future and to protect women’s work in advancing our country!
