Sara Barz believes San Franciscans deserve a clean, safe and connected transit system.
Sara Barz is a transportation planner and San Francisco mom. She has spent her career making transit easier, leading efforts to help the Bay Area’s transit systems provide better connections and transfer discounts, and serving on advisory boards ensuring accountability for transportation projects.
Sara doesn't just advocate for better transit; she relies on BART. She knows how painful it is when you can’t get to work or school pick-up on time because the train is delayed. Sara will use her experience to deliver a world-class rider experience that every San Francisco transit rider deserves.
In an effort to follow fair elections best practices, Sara pledged to accept contributions up to the state limit ($5,900) for individual candidates running for office in a district without contribution limits. Learn more at www.fppc.ca.gov.
